Chairperson: Georgina Potts

Georgina was involved with Parents in Education and is now a member of Parents Making Children Aware (PMCA), a drug awareness/ prevention, programme delivered to local schools.

Secretary: Pat Becton

Living in Rathsallagh since 1975, Pat was volunteer leader of
the Guides/ Brownies for 20yrs, and is closely linked with
the young and elderly. Pat has been a foster parent for 22 yrs.

Treasurer: Caroline Caroline McDermott

Caroline is manager of Shanganagh Park Hse. Prior to this she was a leader in a community play- group. Caroline is founder of mutant teenagers, a popular group for the elderly

Pauline Davy

Pauline resides on the Estates and a community activist for
25 yrs plus. She is Coordinator of SWAN, and a member
of the RAPID(Revitalising Areas by Planning, Investment and Development) implementation team.

John Nolan

John is a long time resident of the Estates and he is chairman of DLR Community & Voluntary Forum. Visually impaired, John strives to address the needs of the disabled in the community.

Sandra Bowe

Sandra has 3 young children, and manages to attend 3rd level education as a mature student. Sandra grew up on the estate and
returned to live here again in 1996.

Willie Morton

Willie is an activist, and has worked in the community for over 15yrs. He is now a member of Dept of Community & Enterprise (DLRCC), and works to meet the needs of men in the community.

Coordinator: Anne Traynor

Anne has many years experience as Youth Development Officer, both in this community and outside. She has resided in the area for 27yrs and her experience will be an asset to Shanganagh CDP

Development Worker:Eniola

Eniola is our new Community Development Worker
She is working to develop community work and empowerment in Shanganagh, applying the principle of community development.
